i see the bundle last month (cc5 pre launch) i want buy but i prefer wait for the Big bundle (Iclone 9 pre launch + cc5 with plugin + other plugin) if the pre launch iclone 9 it’s for december …take my money !

more than december i think better use unreal engine metahuman (cc5) iclone (unreal again) wareface (unreal again)… i think you make a good move with Ai render it’s futur for you (good render quality) many open source project (Flux, Qwen, Wan, …)

i see your solution because it’s most easy for children (first initiation for create character and make animation) but more time advance more Unreal Engine it’s amazing … for example face mocap with 5.6 version … it’s difficult for you sell Wareface for big amount, i think it’s smart if you offer this on the bundle (like better save money for give motivation click buy and write credit card information :rofl:)

i check how many update and date of iclone before

  • Iclone 5 (09/2011) 18 version
  • Iclone 6 (12/2014) 16 version (wait 3 years and 3 month Iclone 5 to Iclone 6)
  • Iclone 7 (06/2017) 29 version (wait 2 years and 7 month Iclone 6 to Iclone 7)
  • Iclone 8 (05/2022) 28 version until today (wait 4 years and 11 month Iclone 7 to Iclone 8)
  • Iclone 9 (??/2026?) until 09/2025 (wait 3 years and 4 month Iclone 8 until Today)

that’s why i think pre launch iclone 9 it’s good windows for this holiday chrismas deal (add 100% cash back same like 2024 for content store) and i think you win big money :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

just same Iclone 8 with less bug and many Ai plugin easy integration (Comfy on background) just make good frontend intuitive view. that’s my vision if i work on reallusion but … i don’t work for Reallusion :joy:

There are already comments from Reallusion that a new iClone version will not be announced this year.

And seeing the massive problems with Character Creator 5 at the moment it’s better they take their time with iClone 9.

They already postponed the release of CC5 and it wasn’t enough. It definitely needs another quarter or even half a year of bug fixes until it’s really ready. It would be really bad if iClone 9 comes undercooked as well.

You and me both. It Costs way too much. I am still using iclone 7. I refused to buy iclone 8 because of the cost. I’m sure a lot of people are leaving. I Can’t even get back 3d Exchange anymore.

If you purchased a 3DXchange license back-in-the-day, you can download it from the Registration page of your Reallusion account.

No, you cannot. It was 3dexchange 4 that even worked with Iclone 6 & 7. I tried all that you mentioned. It requires you to re download iclone 6. and iclone 6 is not the original iclone 6 anymore. Not going thru all that hassle again. I even tried to purchase 3dxchange 7, but it takes you to iclone 8 Purchase. Even thru other venders, it still does not give you the option to purchase 3dxchange 7. You have to purchase Iclone bundle 3dxchange and iclone 7. Appreciate the help anyway. Reallusion always has a gimmic to get you to Upgrade.
