iClone 8 Purchase/Reallusion Hub Connectivity Bug Report (Windows 11)

I am reporting a significant bug I’ve encountered immediately after purchasing iClone 8.

I recently bought iClone 8 and, after rebooting my Windows 11 system, I tried to link my purchase via the download site to the Reallusion Hub.

  • However, the Hub reports a “No Internet Connection” error.
  • I use GlassWire and have verified that I have explicitly allowed all connections and processes related to Reallusion, yet my purchase information is not appearing in the Hub.

Despite being logged into the Reallusion Hub, the application only displays information from the time I initially registered (my join date), and it continues to falsely report a lack of internet connection. My internet connection is stable and working normally.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, I even logged out of the Reallusion Hub and logged back in. While I could successfully access the website, my information (i.e., the iClone 8 purchase) still does not appear within the Reallusion Hub application.

Furthermore, I understand this is a major upgrade, and because my purchase information wasn’t being updated in the Reallusion Hub, I initially uninstalled my existing iClone 7 installation. The purchase information still did not update or refresh after this action.

My internet connection is stable and working normally. Could you please investigate what background connection attempts are being made that are failing, causing the Hub to report a false “No Internet Connection” status and preventing my product information from being synced? Please provide a solution for this issue.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.

Hi… Unfortunately there was an unexpected issue with the Reallusion Hub over the weekend that caused a “no internet connection” error. The issue should now be resolved so please try again.

However, if you do still have issues with the Hub, please let us know. Thanks.

I submitted the same bug report to customer support, and upon checking this morning, the issue had already been resolved. However, as this is my first time visiting this forum, this post is only being registered now.

In any case, the problem is solved. Thank you for your reply.
