Following the instructions found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMwmBHTEaQ0 , I’ve imported several sequences into UE 5.6. In some of the sequences, one of the characters has reverted to an A-pose and has stopped animating. It’s just weird.
Fixed it myself because I’m sure it’ll be days before a response- somehow, the animation used in the sequence imported from live loses loses its skeleton. I re-attached it and viola - issue fixed.
In another sequence of two animation characters, same scenario- one character reverted to A-pose with only eye movement. This time, the skeleton for the anim was not corrupted. I had to find the original anim in iClone and re-import it via live link a second time.
I think the issue is that if you use the same character in separate sequences w/different animations, a bug corrupts the character, causing animation in the sequence to lose its assigned skeleton or corrupt the animation itself, forcing the user to re-import the animation from iClone.
