iClone 8.52 is now available. However, as with all updates there may be a few bugs, glitches or other annoying issues that remain.
Important: If you do find any bugs, issues or glitches in iClone 8.52, please can you report them first in the Feedback Tracker. Then feel free to discuss the issues in this thread but do try to include a link back to the original Feedback Tracker report or your tracker number.
As always it will help us greatly if we can keep all technical issues in the one place (this thread). This will help the development team keep track of any problems.
Please do try to provide your full system specifications and a detailed description of the problem when reporting issues and include screenshots and/or a workflow video whenever possible. If you can provide specific steps so we can try and reproduce the problem that will be even better.
This must be also an Iclone Problem. When using those mice on other apps rightclick works as expected, only in Iclone the rightclick->submenu does not work properly. (Win7 also, just tested)
UPDATE: CC452 also has the same Problem.
Lightroom and Light Studio pre-sets are scene files and often already contain props such as backdrops, light boxes or light stands. Because of this they remove any props already present. Ideally you should load the Lightroom pre-set first before adding anything else to your scene.
Well, that is not exactly a convenient workflow if you just want to quickly test your scene with different lighting setups which is what I think @K_Digital is trying to do.
Actually “Atmosphere” has almost all the equivalents of “Light Room” light scheme presets and more (without props) and it does not replace existing props.
I’m having the same issues now its getting worse , I can’t even open a character without iclone reaching 52% when importing the character then it crashes , content manager is still mounting it’s self on my hard drives so its not closing, when I go to reopen iclone after a crash I get an error message , I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software,
I PAID TO MUCH OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY FOR THE SOFTWARE , PLUGINS, CONTENT, FOR IT TO NOT TO BE WORKING PROPERLY

Unfortunately you haven’t mentioned the most important part of your setup which is the graphic card.
Do you have a supported Nvidia or AMD graphic card? If you do, the first thing to check is that your graphic drivers are updated. Problems with graphic drivers is the most common cause of problems so please check this.
However, if your drivers are updated and the problem persists, then please contact our Technical Support department and supply your dxdiag.txt file so they can check for any system problems. They will also be able to advise you on some things to try.
Sorry to hear you are having these crashing issues.
Are the crashes occurring when you are working on complex projects or do you get crashes even with a very simple project (for example, only one character being animated in a very basic scene setup)?
One thing worth checking as a first step is if you have “Environment Reflection” checked". This option has been known to cause crashing on some setups so it’s worth unchecking it to see if it makes a difference.
