Human Skeleton into Character

Hi, is there a trick to achieve good results when creating a character from a thin mesh, like an actual human skeleton? AccuRig does a good job with the default settings, but the arms and the hands don’t get weighted at all, so they don’t move with the rig. Legs work perfectly, so I assume thin mesh is not a big problem. Is there any best practices when trying to rig something like this?

AccuRig does not do well with disconnected meshes such as skeletons.
You maybe lucky it worked at all with legs and torso.
You’d have to skin weight remaining skeleton parts to the arms/fingers armature bones manually I suppose.
