I paid $99 for Animation 5 and asked for a refund on the very same day. The software was too complicated and I didn’t use it at all. I sent multiple emails and left a public review — but got no response. Now they say it’s too late, even though I asked on day one. I feel scammed and ignored.
Hi…
I have had a look at your case and see you did indeed request a refund on the day of purchase which was the 29th May 2025.
However, I also see Support replied to you regarding your refund on the 30th May and again on the 5th June to remind you that you needed to fill in the returns form within 14 days of purchase. Sadly you did not reply or fill in the returns form.
In fact, I see you have still not replied to Support regarding this issue since the 29th May, but strangely you have chosen to post here on the forum instead.
I’m not sure of the reasons for ignoring Supports replies, but I would advise contacting them now to see if they are still able to help you.
You should try some of the video tutorials
before giving up completely.
I have MOHO pro and CTA and I find CT the easiest software to get something created immediately
If you are not averse to paying monthly subscriptions then Adobe Character animator is very easy to use as well
and has webcam face and body tracking included without additional costs.
Wait. You bought and asked for a refund on the same day because it was too complicated to use… after one day of learning?! Thats because you admit “and I didnt use it at all”. Maybe if you spend some time learning how to use it, you will see how amazing it is. You didnt get scammed. You bought a product and complained because you didnt instantly know how to use it instead of learning it.
You bought one of the best , not to say the best product in that category on the market. I wonder what did you expect ? You can not create a cartoon film by only one mouseclick. Be glad CTA requires more then that, otherwise any cartoon on the planet would look the same. BTW: I was cursing at this software too in the beginning but only because i wasnt able to lean fast enough, but that was my fault, not the softwares. Give it some time, youll see, at the end youll be proud of your first animation. Doesnt take month or years for that, watch some videos from here Reallusion Courses - Free Online Tutorials for 2D & 3D Animations . After the first few ones youll be able to create your first good looking animation. Perhaps even on the first day !
I was also very disappointed - at first; then I started watching the tutorial and my disappointment turned into excitement. I spent over $500.00 - this included content I purchased. I would agree; it wasn’t as easy as I first expected but I gave it another chance and now I am enjoying it every day. 06 27 2025.
And thats because you invested not only money, but time. And thats what is required to learn any new skill. Well done my friend on sticking with it. Cartoon Animator is an incredibly powerful tool, and once you learn the basics, anything is possible!
