How to paint character skin weights in CC5?

In CC4,there have skin weights tools to edit character skin rigging, like this:

But in CC5, I could only find skin weights tools at cloth obejct’s attribute modify panel. Is there any method to edit characater skin weight in CC5? Or we can only edit bone weights at external apps?

Hi…

The Skin Weight features from CC4 are still available in CC5.

The tutorial you link to shows the process when using a Humanoid character, and the same process is available in CC5 when you also load a Humanoid character.

So please ensure you have a Humanoid character loaded in CC5, and you will see the options for Skin Weights are still available on the Modify Panel.

Hi, thanks for quickly reply.

I’ve created a character using HeadShot2, which has a fully rigged body bones and facial bones. However, it doesn’t seem to be loaded as a humanoid character.

Is there a way to convert it into a proper humanoid character? For example, by reassigning the skeleton through AccuRig or what?
