How to merge cameras switcher between projects?

Hi,

I’m working on quite long projects and I’m trying to merge cameras from one project into another.

While the cameras themselves import well using File > Merge, I noticed that my Camera Switcher track (the actual cuts) did not come over with them. I’m sure it’s my fault and I’m likely missing a specific setting or a “copy-paste” workflow for project-level data, but I can’t seem to figure out the right way to do it.

Does anyone know the correct process to ensure the Switcher timeline is included when merging, or how to manually move those switch keys from one project file to another?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi…

Unfortunately merging a project into another does not bring the Camera Switcher track with it. Only the cameras themselves are merged as you have found.

Of course if you start with the project with camera switching, and then merge another project into that one, your camera switching will be retained.
