How to disable the 2d splash screen after software has launched?

Hi,
As soon as the software starts up, I see another splash screen in CC5 and iClone 8 with an ad for some new event.
I have to click it away every time before I can continue using the program, which is really annoying… :frowning:

How can I disable this permanently?

Apologies for the inconvenience. We highly value your startup experience. While the Highlights panel is designed to share useful feature info and events, we understand repetitive pop-ups can interrupt your workflow.

To address this, we have optimized the behavior in iClone 8.73 / CC 5.11 (and later):

  • To prevent the current highlight information from reappearing: Please click the “X” in the top-right corner of the panel, or click any button on the page. Once dismissed this way, it won’t show up again until a brand-new topic is released.
  • Note: Clicking the dark background mask outside the panel to close it will be detected as “unread,” so it will prompt you again on the next launch.
