Hey Friends! The question might sound stupid at first but hear me out!
I am currently evaluating CC5 for my company. We want to create characters with it, but want to have them optimized as much as possible.
Here is the issue!
The characters just dont export properly, when I follow the guides and tutorials. Maybe I am doing something wrong?
I created a charakter, optimized it with the “Optimize and decimate” Option, exported it as an FBX, chose the unity preset and “Merge textures by Type” and thought that I would then get a merged 17k tries charakter with two or three textures at max but…
instead I got the full vertex charakter with more then 50k tries, with the most important Textures missing ( Albedo textures) and way toooo many blendshapes.
So… I just want to know, how can I export the charakter with a chosen few Blendshapes, with 3 Textures at max that -do- export and are not missing the color textures? I dont know, I kind afeel stuid because I almost used up all of my evaluation exports and still did not get a single model that fits the requirements that CC claims to fulfill when I apply certain options? I am… rly confused haha ![]()
