I’m developing an original adult animated series and am looking for an experienced Cartoon Animator 5 character rigger to build a fully functional G3 character from artwork I have already created and approved.
I already have the finished character design and do not need the character redesigned. I’m looking for someone who can take the existing artwork and properly prepare and rig it for Cartoon Animator 5.
What I need:
- Build the character as a functional CTA5 G3 humanoid character
- Use my existing artwork without changing the character’s appearance
- Properly separate and prepare the required body-part sprites
- Create clean, rounded joint areas and appropriate overlap at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, etc.
- Set up the character so arms, legs, torso, and joints move naturally without tearing, stretching, or affecting unrelated parts of the body
- Preserve the character’s existing head, facial features, hair/locs, clothing, proportions, and overall design
- Set up the character to work with Cartoon Animator’s standard human motions as much as possible
- Make sure the rig is suitable for dialogue scenes, gestures, walking, reaching, sitting, and basic comedic acting
- Provide the completed CTA character file
- Provide the editable layered PSD/source files used to build the rig
Important: I am not looking for a new interpretation of the character. The final rig should remain visually consistent with the artwork I provide.
I have already been working in Cartoon Animator 5 and Photoshop, so I have existing artwork and project files available for reference.
This is a paid freelance/independent contractor project for one main character, not an employment position . If the collaboration goes well, I may need additional character rigs for the same series.
