Headshot 2 Upgrade?

I have everything that is being offered for headshot 2. I have headshot 2, the morphs, but I have to upgrade for cc5? Why?

It looks the same. Why would you not allow the current version I have to work with the new version of cc5 or at least call it headshot 3.

If I were to make this “upgrade” it’s like buying the same software version twice. The headshot 2 morph pack I already have works but the actual part that reads the photo does not install. Why not keep it for those that own it already without the “new” features that may have been added? If the morphs work, and I can take my cc4 headshot characters into cc5 and they work… what gives? I should be able to use my current headshot 2.

And to be honest, headshot 2 for cc4 was not much better than headshot 1. The front comes out ok, but they all have the same flat faced side features. Both of them, 1 & 2.

Sorry, but this is very frustrating to pay twice for something. Seriously, you should rename it.

It is simply a compatibility upgrade because CC5 is different from CC4. Calling it Headshot 3 would be confusing.

There are additional morphs for CC5 suitable for HD characters. So they make use of the denser mesh.

Honestly this should have been thought out a bit better.

You say there are different morphs but it is selling the 1000 morph pack with this add on. I have that 1000 morph pack and it is working just fine.

Honestly, to pay another 150.00 for a compatibility issue is a bit steep.

Most other companies, developers, do not charge for same version upgrades.

Again, if this were Headshot 3 it would be a bit easier for the consumer to swallow. I am not sure how calling it headshot 3 would confuse anyone… it changed right? Better right?

Keeping it headshot 2 and charging another 150.00 for the same add-on is not just confusing it is aggravating!

Just saying. :upside_down_face:

Do you mean to say that you paid $150 for a Headshot 2 version that is compatible with CC5? That doesn’t sound right. There were free updates for the plugins one already had.

If you have already purchased Headshot 2 for CC4, then you do not need to purchase it again for CC5. You can redeem your FREE update to the CC5 version by clicking HERE.

Cool, thank you. When I am in the hub, all I get is a trial or purchase option. It was confusing since when I opened CC5, the 1k morphs loaded, or installed.

Appreciate the link :+1:

thanks a lot for the link Pete!
