Hair to CC5 Problems

I made some hair in Blender recently, got it back into CC5, added textures, put on my character and sent it back to Blender for tweaking.

Today, I used the CC/IC “export accessory” function and imported it to CC5 as an accessory. The shapekeys came in as morphs, yay! but even though they are the exact same textures in both versions of the hair, with the exact same settings, they look way different.

I’ve had weird texture issues before and gotten around it by exporting as an obj from Blender, but my understanding is I won’t get the shapekeys in as morphs that way, and I need those morphs.

Any ideas, oh wise ones?

Thank you!

Honestly, when I have something like that and moreover if it’s a complex DHH shader, I would not bother going through dozens of parameters trying to figure which one did not come through correctly. I’d save the original as Material or Material+ and reapply after importing asset back from Blender.
