I’m writting here because I’m completely stuck with CC-IC Blender tools. Since I’ve upgraded to the latest 2.4.3 version, it seems that I can no longer have the same Hair result from Iclone to Blender (see screenshots). Until now, everything was good (still some issues but not like this). Now, the hair seems too bright or even completely white, despite changing the diffuse map directly in Blender or changing the color.
Have anyone encountered an issue like this ? I’ve spent almost 2 days trying to figure this out, still stuck. I’ve even reinstalled the latest version 2.4.2, and I got the same issue.
I had the same issue several versions back. I believe it was because I didn’t completely erase the previous version of the plugin/addon before installing the latest update. Just tested with 2.4.3 exporting 2 characters from both CC5 and iclone8. Both the models and their hair came across without issue.
Hey ! thank you for your reply. I tried though, clean installation, but the problem was still the same. Eventually I saw that for some reason in Blender the “transmission strength” is way too high (almost 5), while it should stay at 0.1 or 0.2… so that seems to have worked, for now.
