I’m afraid it just happened to me. I’m using Chrome. But this was the first time so it’s not all the time. I’ll monitor it closely.
I got the error 3 times today while trying to post and answer to a question.
Using Microsoft Edge.

Sadly it appears the changes we made did not resolve the problem as we hoped so it’s back to the drawing board. 
Yes, even more often than before (i.e. before, it took 1 to 2 retries, now it more like 2 to 3 retries).
