Facial Profile Editor and Blender Challenges

I am having a very frustrating time with exports from CC5 to Blender to work on shape keys for the Facial Profile Editor. Each time the import happens from Blender there is something different that is wrong or an existing facial expression is altered that was never touched. I am beginning to think it may be a bug in CC5.

I have checked everything I can. Right now, I am having a challenge with existing animation settings for the Facial Profile Editor changed after reimporting to CC5 even though no changes were made to them in Blender.

My current challenge is that I have made edits to the mouth facial expressions of a character and imported them back into CC5 and the edits to the mouth do not show, but for each mouth expression slider in the facial profile editor, the mouth does not move but the left eye is affected and drops to the ground. This is on each mouth slider in the FPE. Non of this appears in Blender as the edits to each shape key were done using sculpt and mesh edits in the body mesh. This is very frustrating as I have used the online instructions to the letter and every import back into CC5 yields another problem.

Shape Key edits made for various parts using sculpt and mesh edits
Selected armature, all meshes

Import back to CC5
Some existing facial edits go to extreme although programmed in CC5 before send to Blender
Shape keys edited in Blender that were not edited in CC5 appear and appear normal and saved in the shape key keyframes in Blender, do not appear to work in CC5 when moved, instead the left eye is affected and drops on the X axis when moving the expression slider for the expression edited in the shape key in Blender.

By the way, I have also used the Pipeline with the same results and sometimes worse. Any help greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply. I ran some test with the feature, but wasn’t able to reproduce the issue.
Since this is a back and forth workflow, it might be best to check each step.
Could you please provide the files you saved during the work including the following?

  • CC project you used to export sequence
  • Blender file after your shape key edits
  • .fbx exported from blender
