Facial presets in Character Creator into Unity (or iClone)

Hi there all! Admittedly I don’t know much about what I’m doing and find CC and IClone to be very confusing. I’m using Unity, and I was wondering if there is such a thing as having facial presets/morphs for certain expressions like happiness, sadness, etc etc.

I’m using the Unity plug-in Adventure Creator and trying to make expression tokens for happiness, sadness, etc which can they be inserted straight into the dialogue to change the NPC’s expression. This is usually under the skin mesh renderer, but instead there are just tons of morph sliders.

I just want to easily make happiness tokens and sadness tokens etc for my NPCs, that can be used in in-game dialogue and not in cutscenes/timelines. I’m just genuinely at a loss of how to even connect these two things, and maybe I’m looking at it from the totally wrong standpoint.

Thanks!

Hi gabriellerousseve,

If you’re just looking for facial presets, you can use Face Key in the Modify panel — there are plenty of different emotion and expression presets available.

Alternatively, you can download the animation content pack from Free Resources in the Content Manager .

Hope this helps!
