Face Key Editor not work

Colleagues, hello everyone! I want to know why the “Face Key Editor” function does not work for my character? I only select the eyes because I want the character to look to the side. But my whole head is spinning, not just the eyes. The head was created using the “Talking Head” PSD template and attached to the character’s “Free Bone”. In “Face Puppet” everything works fine, but I need to fix the character’s gaze to the side.

Check your PSD structure for the eyes are correct.

It should be as follows:

RL_Talkinghead > Center > RightEye > Normal > Iris
RL_Talkinghead > Center > LeftEye > Normal > Iris

Then you should have the eye sprite you want to move under Iris as shown below. You should also check that the bones for RightEye and LeftEye are correctly placed and that naming is correct and matches the above.

Everything absolutely right! I even tested it on a downloaded PSD template from your website.


This is a long shot. You say your layer structures are all correct, and when you try to get the character to look to the side, the entire head is moving and not just the eyes. How are you moving the eyes? If youre using the crosshairs gizme, that will turn the entire head. To move only the eyes, you need to hold down your left mouse button anywhere in the blank area surrounding the dummy head in the Face Key Editor menu window, and then when you move your mouse, only the eyes will move if you have only them selected.
