Hello, I’m using the Face Key editor to move a characters face muscles in iClone 8, but for some reason I cannot see or find the keyframes in the timeline. Is there a specific place i need to open to view the keyframes and move them?
Thanks in advance.
Those keyframes should be in the Expression track.
Thanks for your reply, I have checked that track and there are no keyframes in there. I’m on the latest release, perhaps a bug?
I shut down and tried again, but still no keyframes. When i scrub over the timeline to the place where there should be a keyframe, the face key editor show ‘revert’. So its recognising that something is there… perhaps i have to activate another setting or something??
Any help is appreciated.
Hi…
Are you using a custom non-standard character or a standard CC3+ character?
With the default Camila character using the Face Key Editor the timeline should show like below when muscle keys were set at frame 35 and 61.
FIX:
On the left side of the Timeline(down the bottom), find your character’s name
Slightly to the right side of his name, there should be a Down Arrow
Click this Down Arrow which will open up which tracks are to be displayed, and tick the box next to Expression
Now your Timeline will expand downwards, so scroll down to find the Expression tracks
