Hello!
I am working on a mocap cleaning project using fbx mocap data imported into maya first for retargeting to the hero character rig before importing the animation into to Iclone 8 for further cleaning(ie. footsteps, Object touching). The hero character rig originate from maya and was imported into CC4 and convert into a usable actor for Iclone 8.
The problem we are encountering is that when importing the animation onto the actor rig the foot movement is overexaggerated and bouncy. The top part of the body seem to move correctly, which adds even more to the frustration.
with this topic I will include my exporting parameter from maya pic(1), the importing parameter for Iclone 8 pic(2) and a video of the issue including a colored model(the Iclone avatar) and a gray mesh model(the exported fbx animation).
If anybody have encountered this problem before or have any idea on how to fix this, I will be extremely grateful for the help. This workflow of this project is intertwined closely with Iclone 8 so this issue is causing ripples through out the pipeline and is soon to create delays.
