Export animated head only with morphs

Is there any way to export just a head out of iclone with the facial animation and pose morphs? I don’t believe there is a way directly, but I am wondering if there is a workaround that doesn’t involve opacity or visibility brush?

I bought a head off of 3dscanstore.com. I used cc4/headshot 2 to recreate. At the end of the process in Headshot 2 you need to attach a body. Makes sense, but I’m not comfortable animating or weighting multiple soldier characters in CC4 and would rather do it in Cinema 4d.

So I want to use just an animated head from iClone and to parent (Not stitch) it to my c4d bodies. Not ideal but any seams would be hidden by clothes and I get the best of all softwares.

Screenshot of my ridiculous workaround. If i set the body opacity to ‘0’ it renders artifacts where the two bodies intersect. Hence the scale


Hours later… I guess ‘delete hidden faces’ on export, works just fine. Probably better for the more custom characters in CC4 anyway.

I found a CC4 / Cinema 4d Plugin as well (CC4D) which is really well built.

Ideally id just move all the soldier props/clothes in and weight everything in CC4, But it looks really hard and time consuming for characters like the soldier above. Especially when the soldier pack I bought is rigged in Cinema 4D and set up to render in octane.
