after a long time I am doing a new iClone animation and I am confused with all the new stuff. I have the problem that the “Edit Motion Layer” panel doesn’t work as i was used to. Hands and Feet are always locked, even when I switch of the “locked” symbol. What is going on here? Feet and hands have this blue circle around them and I guess this is connected, but I haven’t found a way to switch of those …

Hey Direx, This is new for iClone 8. Cyan circle indicates that the limb was IK Effector locked. This is much more stronger so to speak than basic lock we got used to in iCLone7 and it also creates a key on a separate IK/FK blend track. IK button locks the limb. To unlock, click an FK button.
