Just finished another short film.
I’m still looking to get better native Iclone renders rather than learn a whole new software, ie Unreal.
Here’s the film, cheers!: Dragon Elite
One of the better renders I’ve seen from iClone – nice job!
Very nicely done. The rendering result is also impressive. The disadvantage of iClone is the limited range of functions, including in the area of particles. That’s why I use Blender more as a rendering environment. But it’s a long learning curve.
Thanks gordryd
Very nice, If I have 10 percent of your talent then I will be do great for my humble project.
Thanks for the compliment ThorstenMihm.
I know what you mean about particles, it’s difficult to make them not look cartoony. I’m a little obsessed with getting Iclone renders to look as close to Blender and Unreal as I can. Reallusion software is fantastic, I wish they could put as much into the lighting and rendering side as they do with the workflow links to other software, which as you say is a long learning curve.
That’s very kind of you to say sungod. Have you uploaded anything to take a look at? I’m struggling a bit with this new forum so apologies if you have and I can’t find it.
I haven’t shared anything Publicly.
Still learning and you guys are inspiration.
This is awesome. Im seeing shadows jumping around here and there but im guessing its iClone limitations. Very good use of lighting
Thanks linus!
Yes, to get every shot to look as good as possible you have to slightly move the lighting and because each character is individualy lit you get clashes with shadows. Really hope Reallusion are working on lighting and better rendering so I don’t have to spend years learning other software! Thanks again for the nice comment. Cheers
