Just upgraded to CC5. Do I HAAAAVE to reinstall all my CC4 content or ui there a way to tell the program where my already installed stuff is?
Please tell me there’s a way! I mean, it’s 2026. lol

By default CC4 and CC5 share the same folders for your template and custom content. This means that CC5 should be able to access all your CC4 content without needing to reinstall everything again.
In CC5, you may see the content pack thumbnails appear greyed out, but you just have to double click the thumbnail to activate the content in CC5, but it shouldn’t need to download the content.
Unfortunately, if when you installed CC5 you chose different folders for your template and custom content, then obviously CC5 won’t be able to find the content automatically, but you can manually point CC5 to find the content instead.
To do this go into your Content Manager > Settings (see below) and manually add the folders where your CC4 content is stored.
