I keep having the problem where the geometry distorts in the crotch area and under the arms. Is there any way to fix this? Does anyone have a good work flow? I export fbx in daz, and sometimes use transformer or import as an accessory and convert to skin weights, and I get the same problem. I even export daz to blender, and then in blender, export to fbx, and this is way better, but on most daz clothes, I get the same issue. The geometry distortion is attached in a pic…I would be most appreciative if anyone could solve this, and if someone wants to get paid for helping, I am open to that…
This is a problem I run into pretty frequently. The only thing I know to do is, after Tansforming into Character Creator, use the Edit Mesh/Sculpt/Smooth brush on the clothing item, which can sometimes smooth the mesh back into shape. It doesn’t always work, but it’s worth a try.
Those items need to be re-skinned. I have a couple of workflows to get you started, but it may vary depending on cloth item design, mesh density, etc…
