Daz3D shirt to CC5 - weird weight painting

Hi there

I’m making a character in CC5 and am so close to finishing it, only I’m having issues with a shirt. I got this “Masculine Modern Shirt” for Genesis 9, loaded it onto a G9 character in Daz, and then exported it to an fbx. When I import the model using ‘transformer’, I make sure the shirt is imported as ‘cloth’, and select the skin templates. Only:

This is what happens when I select the ‘default’ skin template option

And this is what happens when I select the ‘original’ option

I’m so close and I would really love to get this working properly, as it’s the last thing for finish. I feel like the original skin template is perfect on the right side but I don’t know why it bugs out like that on the left. Any help would be greatly appreciated :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed info!
Still, it’s a little hard to tell what’s causing the skin template to bug out just from the images.

Could you please send the original FBX file exported from Daz to my email at alanyang@reallusion.com? We’ll take a closer look and try to figure out the cause.

Thanks!
