I’ve been having this problem for a while now…
When I open an object’s transform keys in Curve Editor, I can’t see the tangent handles (bezier handles?)
All the tutorials show that simply opening the Curve Editor will display tangent handles for all points. I can’t see the handles 98% of the time. Toggling the handle visibility button does nothing.
Please help.
Please try zooming in to the curve editor to see the bezier handles. When you are zoomed out you may not see them.
They need to revert back to the way it used to display, Peter.
I already mentioned in the other thread, the amount of required zoom depends on a clip length.
On average clip, you need to zoom all the way in to see the key, and most importantly bezier handles. And it’s getting to the point where you do not understand what and how you want to adjust. I need to see lot more than just a small portion of a curve and a single key before making decisions and adjustments. It’s ridicules to keep zooming in and out to make all necessary adjustments and validate curves.
Wow, thank you. I did not realize there is a zoom cutoff point past which the handles will not be rendered.
Maybe someone should add this note to the online manual?
Absolutely agree with this. Never during the past couple of years did I ever edit a short enough clip in Curve Editor to have seen the bezier handles actually rendered.
Only now when I tried editing a very very short clip did the handles show up in the Curve Editor.
Hi 4u2ges…
Thanks for your always valuable feedback. We very much appreciate it.
I have passed on your feedback and request to the dev team. As soon as I know more I’ll update again.
