The CTA v.5 Online Manual is pretty dense!
For novices like myself, are there any recommendations of which sections of the Manual are more critical than others at first to consult to reduce the learning curve?
Thanks for any responses!

The thing with Cartoon Animator now is that the software is so big and there are so many different tools and features. Ive been using CTA for over 10 years, and if I had to go back to the beginning and start fresh at day 1, the advice I would give to myself would be the following -
Take the time to first learn how keyframes work, how the X-Y-Z asic works and how the different timelines work.
Pick a tool. Play with it. Research it. Learn what it does properly. Then move to the next tool.
Join the Cartoon Animator Users Facebook group and ask for help. We have over 6000 CTA users who are on hand 24 hours a day.
Start small. Dont try and make the next Disney feature film in your first week. Make a character walk across the screen and stop and wave. If you can do that, youre on your way!
I wish you the very best of luck with CTA. Its amazing software. You wont learn it overnight, but with practice, you will produce inscredible stuff.
Thanks for these tips!
Will surely consider joining that FB CTA users group.
My pleasure. Anything you need, just ask.
