Content Libary "Sort by Date" Problems

I hope I’m in the right place here…

But why is my Content Library suddenly deactivating, and why does the manager set today’s date as the creation date for all assets during “Custom Reimport”?

I don’t even know if this is a bug or a feature I don’t understand. It seems like a luxury… but… my file organization is gone. I could, of course, use File Explorer and drag and drop…

Is this really necessary? Is there anything I can change? Configure? I’ve already downloaded the freeware that changes the Windows timestamp from “last accessed” to the date of the last update for all files. The Content Manager stubbornly insists that everything was created today.

I’m still very satisfied. But it’s these little things that bother me. The chance that I’m just being dense is also not insignificant.

You’re not dense, I have noticed the same some time ago. I just didn’t bother to report it, but I agree that it is an issue.

Hi Bads,

Regarding the issue where the Content Library becomes “suddenly deactivated,” could you let us know if there are any warning messages or provide a short video for reference? This will help us better understand and resolve the situation you are encountering.

As for the behavior during “Custom Reimport,” where the Content Manager changes the creation date of all assets to “today’s date,” our team has confirmed this as a bug. The fix is currently in progress, but the estimated release date is not yet available. We appreciate your feedback and patience while the team works on resolving it.

So yesterday I was quite irritated. I quickly practiced accepting it. After all, I could still work, even if at a much slower pace. The irritation only subsided, however, when I was able to describe my problem here. I guess it just needed to be written down. I’m feeling better now, though, thanks for your concern. If that’s what you meant

I wasn’t able to record a video. I started Creative Cloud normally (practically right after Windows started), without any prior errors, and it was as if it had been installed from scratch. Morphslider was unavailable, etc. Then Creative Cloud started completely resynchronizing the Custom folder and changing the creation date everywhere. It was a very bizarre situation. As you can see, I could hardly express myself  . And as already mentioned, these little things (which don’t just affect one software company) are happening. Lately, one often wonders why this is happening again. And this… And that  . That’s not the point!

If the bug has already been reported and is therefore known, then that’s enough for me.

Thanks!
