Combine parts of different motions?

Hello,
I’m trying to find a workflow for combining (for example) the upper body of motion A with the lower body of motion B. I know there’s the Pose Manager, but that seems to only work with static poses, not motions.
I found this tutorial on YouTube. It seems to work in a hacky workaround way. I was hoping there was a more official Reallusion method or tool I was missing.

I think this sort of thing can be done with Motion Mixer but I was wanting to do it without going through Motion Director.

There is a tool called Motion Puppet for mixing motions. You will need to first add motions to the tool.
