Changing hair affects eyeball scale

Hi, On the latest version of CC5 (5.06) I’ve noticed that changing the character’s hair changes the eyeball scale and possibly some surrounding shapes (around the jaw and cheeks).

It’s definitlely most obvious in the eyeball. I’ll attach a before and after.

I made the character using the Headshot 2.0 plugin if it helps. Although I’ve worked with the same character for a while without this issue.

Reverting back to CC5.05 seems to fix the issue for now.

Is this the best place to report as a bug? It may be something I’ve done incorrectly but I think it’s an issue on the latest update.

UPDATE

Reinstalling the Blender pipeline meant the auto-update took my version back to 5.06, and the problem is there again. So it looks like it’s fine with 5.05 but not in 5.06. Is that helpful to know? Thank you.

Same thing keeps happening to me. I hope they fix this soon

Hi Alex, it looks like it’s a known issue (there’s another thread somewhere). One workaround that someone mentioned is to switch to subdivision level 2 to change the hair, and it seems to not cause any issues. You can then change back to subdivision 1 or 0. Hope that’s helpful for the short term.
