In the Image Layer window there is a slider for Motion Strength and the option to set a key, however, “Base Layer” does not appear to be affected by this strength slider. Is there a way to “tone down” some of the canned motions/actions?
After some searching, found an answer here: Motion Modifier
As far as I can tell, it’s a “hidden” panel only available in the timeline.
One issue I am having with this control is that feet slide around when setting the lower body below 100 (%?). Even if I lock the feet in Edit Motion Layer, I think the Motion Modifier “unlocks” them, and the closer the “lower” value gets to “0”, the more the feet slide around. I think it also depends on how much foot/leg motion was in the original clip.
EDIT: Another “hidden” menu, “Motion Correction” can be accessed by right-clicking on the motion clip in the timeline. This can fix the foot sliding.
