Hello, I’m working with characters created by an artist in CC4, and when I open the files, I get a message saying the sliders are missing. When I try to subdivide character in CC5, it crashes; CC also crashes when I try to export an FBX file (although the export works fine in iClone). Do I need to find and delete these sliders in CC4 on the artist’s computer?
Hi…
If these are custom sliders then the artist could supply you with the morph sliders (if they are deleted it could drastically affect the way the character looks).
Note: Morphs can be baked into the character from the Morph tab of the Modify Panel. If you select “Currently Used” you will see a Bake button at the bottom allowing you to bake all the morphs in use.
Hello,
Are you still having this issue ?
I just recently upgraded to CC5 and had the same issue. I even did what you did by updating my CC4 actors to CC5.
but later when I closed CC5, then re-opened it, the message stopped.
Not sure if that self corrected the issue.
Hi @ccondenser and @araffa040872,
Did refreshing the sliders resolve the issue? Can you find the affected sliders in SG?
Could you also let us know which character you are using and whether it is embedded content or a custom-made character?
To help us investigate further, please provide:
- A screen recording showing your workflow
- The character and project files
You can send the files to winnerhung@reallusion.com or share a cloud drive link with us.
Thanks!
