Try right clicking your CC5 desktop icon and choose “Run as Administrator”. This may allow allow CC5 to launch successfully?
Please Note: if you don’t have a desktop icon for CC5, you can do the same thing by finding Character Creator 5 under Start Menu > All.

I am getting this too. Neither CC5 nor CC4 - nor iClone - will open and the Hub doesn’t open as it usually does when I start a RL program. I tried running as administrator and nothing. Windows hasn’t updated on my PC since the 17th , and no NVIDIA updates either. (I do everything manually). By contrast, Blender 4.5 and 5 are running fine.
It’s probably been a week or ten days since I opened any RL program, but they were fine then.
Ideas?

Ok, I unintalled the Windows updates on the 17th (2026-02 Security Update (KB5077181) (26200.7840), which Windows helpfully immediately reinstalled during restart. But something must have changed because after that, I was able to open the Hub, and it updated, and then updated everything, and now everything opens. I dunno. Computers are weird.

I ran cc5 as windows 8 compatibility in the properties by right clicking the icon and changing settings there
