CC5 & iC9 Suggestions

A lot of great announces for the Reallusion’s 2026 vision, CC5 and iC9 upgrade, but I would like to see a few missing features or tools:

** CC5: Mesh Wrapping. **

Similar to Faceform Wrap and ZWrap, could you include a drawing spline points topology wrapping option for the next software update? Drawing splines nodes is a better contour option, that defines a mesh surface with specific edge loops from different topology or scan surface. It provides a faster and more fine tuned result compare to selecting individual corresponding control points, on specific parts around the mesh. Also could you include an automated control wrapping solution for precise or fine-tuning accurate facial or body blendshapes details, from multi-surface scan mesh data?

iClone 9: Rig anything. Animate everything.

For advanced dynamic character motion animations in the new iClone 9 update, could you look into adding Machine Learning tools, like precise character animations controls, transferred from retargeted mocap data? Developers Paul Starke and Sebastian Starke created a neural network animations controller technique called DeepPhase and Phase Manifolds for real-time realistic character locomotion animations. This deep learning technique is a solution for precise and variant animations via seeds ID, through ML future predictive motions controls of different scenarios with motion in-betweening. Key points of the animation transitions into another variant animation, is based on different motion trajectories, providing a more physically accurate simulated potential, kinetic and collusion energies of motion. As a result, locomotion flows smooth and realistic. Recently the developers released their deep learning tool AI4AnimationPy on GitHub, which was previously exclusively available on Unity, however I didn’t think this tool is fully open-source, as their research and development is in partnership and published by Facebook/Meta. I would like to see a similar implementation of these Machine learning neutral network tools in the new software update by the Reallusion software devs. This tool will be a useful for the Motion-Directing for filmmakers or game dev with games engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot and even blender’s game engine (UPBGE). Perhaps, you could then create the custom nodes for advanced character motions function, for the blender/UPBGE pipeline.
