CC4 clothes disappear!

I made a CC4 and added a sweater and pants (both cc4 content). A few days later I decided to change the sweater. When I add the new sweater, the pants she was wearing disappeared. When I add new pants, the sweater she was wearing disappears. While my character is a bit eccentric, walking around half-naked wasn’t in the plan.

Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

In Character Creator clothing is assigned clothing layers numbers. This allows certain clothing to go over others, such as dresses going over underwear or coats going over shirts.

It sounds like you have the pants and sweater assigned the same layer number. To resolve this just follow the instructions HERE and for more information see HERE. This should help.
