CC/IC Blender Pipeline Issue: My Sculpt Doesn't Save After I Bake!

The two photos above demonstrates the issue I’ve been having.

I’m trying to generate a likeness using Character Creator 5 and Blender. I have the plug in that allows me to export my character from CC5 to Blender, where I can then sculpt the character and send it back to CC5. I’m following this tutorial very closely to do this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sild9pGrFNE

The issue I’m having now is, after I’m done sculpting and I press “Bake”… none of my sculpts remain. It just reverts the character to how it was before I started sculpting.

I’ve followed the tutorial exactly and this issue keeps happening and I’m hoping one of you can guide me on how to fix this.

Thank you!

Hi, muaythaistriker20

This issue has already been fixed in the latest Auto Setup release on GitHub.

Please download Auto Setup v2.3.4 from here:

Both blender_tools and Pipeline-Plugin need to be updated.

Also, please make sure to switch this branch from main to dev , as the latest version (2.3.4) is currently on the dev branch.

Let us know if the issue persists after updating.

I have the same problem,
where my sculpting reverts to its normal state after baking.

I didn’t know beforehand that we had to switch from Main to Dev, but the problem still persists.

Greetings Robert

I’ve added some fixes for the sculpt bake.
