CC Blender Tool and Plugin (2.32) are not fully working with Blender 5.0

As I dependent on CC Blender Pipeline. I downloaded latest official version of CC Blender tool 2.32 and that was working fine with Blender 4.54 but after I switched to Blender 5, everything got weird like colliders are importing in Blender with full visibility in viewport and render, materials are not coming right though it has been corrected after rebuilding in Pipeline tool. Motion if send separately from iClone 8.63 not getting rightly in Blender 5. I assume there is some communication gap between 2.32 version with Blender 5.

In general, I would avoid jumping onto the latest releases of any software if you are in production, especially if you rely on plug-ins.

Most often, these need to be updated specifically for new software releases. Bugfixing, Testing etc etc.
Stuff like that takes time. Wouldn´t expect any plug-in to be ready for the newest Software Iteration (Blender, Unreal, Maya, etc etc) within a month.

I´ll stick with Blender 4.5 for as long as it takes my Plugins to migrate, same with Unreal 5.7. None of these new features are so essential for what I want to do, that I need to jump on it RIGHT NOW.

I usually do that but Blender 5 is something different in production and usability. It’s game changer and it is far stable than 4.5 and totally Vulkan Ready, ACES color space integration, superior and fast Eevee RayTracing rendering, scatter modifier and above all super Compositor. OK I’ll wait for next CC Blender update. Until then I have to somehow make it working in Blender 5. Thank you.

There’s no arguing with that. Nevertheless, the Blender beta, with its daily updates, is available for months in advance precisely for that reason. A month seems a bit long to me, but I don’t know what to expect from software developers in the future. It’s not that every brushstroke could be replaced by AI, but the software for manual work is practically being given away. Look at Affinity. How many years ago was Photoshop’s last “wow” feature…? The CC5 HD characters are nice. Too much for just one update, but almost too little for…

The resources for generative AI have to be purchased with a tight budget. Service is even more expensive and doesn’t generate any revenue…

Perhaps a month is more realistic than I thought when I started writing this

I agree, I too have the feeling that a lot of resources are being used to chase buzzwords.

You have to realize that RL software is used by a broad community of users that all expect different things and want it now.
I understand that interfacing with other 3d applications is important for many, but it is of no use to me because I work primarily within iClone and CC. On the other hand I am quite happy with CC5 which is of little use to others.
RL has to perform a balancing act…

You’re right. You are also rendering in CC/iC? I have, and I gotta be honest, never thought about rendering in cc/ic, as I’ve always been more comfortable in Blender /UE. So I never gave it a fair shot.

auto setup 1.41 is buggy and I’m very much disappointed with the quality and so I quit UE and I’m doing every render in Blender Eevee+RayTracing. It takes about 10-20 times more time in Blender but quality is superb in respect to UE which by default has no AO activated in Lumen with 0.5 sample RayTracing. I don’t want fast but quality output which Blender gives. Soupday has done a remarkable work creating this Blender pipeline. But I disappointed I could not use the Blender 5.0 with 2.32 version but it works flawlessly with latest LTS Blender 4.5.5. Perhaps new python API in Blender 5.0 may cause of delay.
