Several enhancements including adding wrinkle map region strength controls and bug fixes.
Blender Pipeline Plugin in CC/iC
Enhanced:
- Set keyframes option, when toggled off Send Pose and Sequence will not create an action or set any keyframes.
- Corrected avatar type detection on importing characters, preventing facial profile restore.
- Facial expression drivers will only be used when bones control expressions in Blender (i.e. Rigify)
- When another instance of Blender connects to DataLink, the previous connection will be correctly terminated.
- Plugin toolbar visibility can now be toggled.
- Datalink Receive Sequence will calculate facial expressions for the Eye look and Jaw open expressions based on the bone rotations.
Bug Fixed:
- Fixed displacement channel strength being overridden by normal channel.
- Datalink send motion will use the correct project FPS.
Blender Auto Setup in Blender
Support Blender 4.3, several enhancements such as Wrinkle map region strength controls and bug fixes.
Enhanced:
- Wrinkle map region strength controls added.
- Datalink Send Avatar will ask to overwrite (or cancel transfer) any existing same character.
- When exporting or sending Rigified animations: IK stretch is now disabled in the rig.
- Generic import option to disable auto-conversion of materials.
- Rebuild drivers also rebuild Rigify shape key drivers.
- Datalink transfer Sequence and Pose actions separately labelled “Sequence” and “Pose” no longer just “Datalink” for both.
- Operations that use object or mesh duplicates no longer duplicate the actions on the objects.
- Teeth and tongue added to bone / expression drivers.
- Meta-rig bone alignment options added to the Basic rig panel.
- Nose crease wrinkle maps added to Mouth_Smile_* expressions.
- Iris Brightness adjustments removed when baking.
- DataLink Import motion will optionally (confirmation dialog) import motion to active character if no matching character.
Bug Fixed:
- Fixes and alpha fixes in Blender 4.3
- Material and Lighting fixes for Blender 4.3
- Rigify Metarig bone rolls are aligned exactly to the CC/iC source bones now.
- Fix to import hanging when there are no characters in FBX.
- DataLink pose functions no longer break expression drivers.
- Rigify face rig fallback to envelope weights if auto weights fail.
- Rigify head turn expression driver corrected.
- Fixed collision objects being included in export.
- Fixed displacement strength export.
