CC 452 Building Morph Slider Cache on Each Program Start even it says “One time operation” on the Logo while starting the program.Can i may be disable this or is anyone else NOT having this issue ?
That’s the way it is supposed to work. As soon as you exit CC the cache gets cleared as it isn’t required for any other software. The number of sliders being cached depends on just how many total morph packs a user has installed, and none of us wish to have resources being blocked by a software that isn’t opened.
What confuses me is that it says: “one time operation”. I always understood this a chache thats created for faster use when the program it used the next time. IIRC i only saw this message before when something has been updated. Anyway thanks for the reply !
There is something else broken and I believe it relates to caching on start one way or another.
This started happening after latest CC update.
When you open CC and load a first
character, it takes 4 times longer than it normally should.
And it mostly stuck on “Updating morphs data”.
Opening a bare CC3+ neutral base takes on average 2 minutes to fully load after opening CC.
Any consecutive attempt to load the same CC3+ character takes about 30 seconds.
=============================================================
Note: In the past this behavior was well-known for CC1 bases where it takes a whooping 4.5 minutes (still does) to open for the first time. And now similar pattern is shown for all bases.
Very annoying!
(and where the heck is underline option at this forum!)
