Hello,
I own a new media production company that is developing an animated series. We are very early. The books, screenplays and audio files are all done but we are just starting to work on the series. So I dabble and there are some easy parts of the animations I will be contributing, but for the bulk of the work I have 2 animators and 2 illustrators on staff full time.
The animators are Adobe Animate peeps, which is wildly undercapable for what we are doing. They are learning Toon Boom Harmony now. But here is my question. I am training in Cartoon Animator 5 because it can produce 10X faster than Toon Boom, in my estimation. However, what I cannot find out is exactly how good can the animation be. Animated series are notoriously low end. Simsons, South Park, Rick and Morty, Adventure Time are all low end animation but they succeed because of the characters, stories and humor. Thats the formula.
The quality I want is “Haunted Hotel” quality. Can Cartoon Animator deliver this? I am too new to figure it out myself and I cannot for the life of me find Cartoon Animator examples that are beyond the examples in the tutorials. I feel in my bones that if the illustrations and characters are quality (my illustrators are top notch) then we can get to where we need and do not have to struggle with Toon Boom. So … do you folks have examples of the higher quality animation that Cartoon Animator can do?
Appreciate it.
Cheers
Monte
