Cape does not collide with the floor

Hello,
Please refer to the attached picture, I have a cape for this character that has cloth physics enabled.

It does collide with the character but not with the floor which it clips through.

How do I make it so that it will collide with the floor prop, and can I also make the floor invisible and collidable?

You could try adding the “Infinite Plane” physics prop…not sure it works with soft cloth, though…

Hi!
Thanks for replying!
I managed to solve the issue but I had to use iclone.

I iclone I had to make a primitive cube and use it as a floor. I activated physics on it and set it to static, then I set it as “dummy” so its invisible. Also checked “set as surface”

Character creator doesn’t have this feature and I was not able to apply rigid body physics to props. I could assign physics but it would not collide with the cape.

In that sense these two softwares are built for their purpose, but thankfully both have identical rendering options.

You can add physics props in CC as well. Just dig down, or use the search, to find them.

The “Infinite Plane” is a good option for a floor collision, and is already set up for that. You will also find it in the “Create” menu in iClone.
