I’d like to have a character that is not human , a robot, and have a sprite animation facial expressions inside iClone. Is that possible ? How I can achieve that ?
There is no “easy” GUI interface to animate sprites, but it can be simulated with UV tiling and offset.
In your case you set a static Tiling as U=0.5 and V=0.25 for the Base Color image. I suppose there is a separate material for eyes (if there is a separate material for each eye, then you have to divide U further).
And then animate at the timeline with UV offset. Each key got to have a “Step” type Transition Curve preset.
