I am on 4.52.3526.1 and when I try to export motion on a non-standard character (daz genesis 8) as BVH, I’m told “Failed to export the following clip(s) as BVH” and nothing saves.

Do not use Current Motion option. Pick Custom and them choose saved motion files from content folders. You may even select multiple motions at a time and do batch export.
I have the same problem, trying to save just the current pose as a BVH, get that same error, tried most other combination and they all fail
As 4u2ges already suggested, have you tried choosing custom instead of current and just load the saved motion clips. This should work.
Yes that works, but are the other options not intended to work ? it’s over a year since the original post, maybe it should be added to the manual that we should only use the “custom” option as the others do not work.
