Blend shapes on a custom character not affected by UE face control rig

I rigged my custom character in CC5 and manually created most of the blend shapes in Maya. I’m using the CC5 HD facial profile (+Visme 7+8) and it seems to be working perfectly in CC5.
However, when I go to UE5.6 and use both CC Autosetup and CC Control rig plugins, the control rig created for the face only affects some of the blend shapes. Most of them I can’t edit with the generated control rig as the controls don’t influence anything.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong since I am new to the CC5 pipeline so any help would be appreciated.

I found a solution - what works for me is to convert the Facial Profile to CC4 Extended instead of the CC5 HD before exporting to Unreal.
Still not sure why CC5 HD didn’t work in this case.

Following the steps from the video still gives me the same issues when I use CC5 HD facial profile.
Using CC4 Extended, however, works just like in the video!

I’m looking for a solution for real time facial retargeting for my custom CC character. Do you maybe have a guide recommendation?
