Many assets imported from Unreal Engine and modern games use packed textures such as ORM (Occlusion / Roughness / Metallic) or similar channel-packed maps.
It would be extremely helpful if Character Creator allowed users to manually assign which texture channel (R, G, or B) corresponds to each material input (for example: Roughness, Metallic, AO).
A simple solution could be a dropdown menu or selector for each property, allowing users to choose from:
All
Red
Green
Blue
This would greatly improve compatibility with industry-standard workflows and eliminate the need to manually edit textures in external software just to repack channels.
Overall, this feature would streamline importing assets from Unreal Engine and other engines, making Character Creator much more flexible and production-friendly.
