AutoSetup 2.0 and LiveLink to Unreal

Greetings. I recently installed autosetup 2.0, but I’m migrating everything to unreal 5.6 via live link. everything is going great, but how do I create a control rig now? if earlier I clicked on the skeletal mesh and then the Control rig, then everything was created without problems. And now there is Run autosetup, but when I select it, autosetup create several blueprints and something else is copied. or do I only need to import characters through fbx now?

Hi, aindigo1371

You can use Run Unreal Auto Setup to re-create the Shader, Control Rig and Live Link blueprint

Yes. I clicked on it and after that I got several copies of the files. How can this be avoided or nothing terrible will happen? And how do I avoid Using T0 as Ref Pose when moving through a live link?

Hi, aindigo1371

Live Link does not enable Use T0 as Ref Pose, but please make sure your Live Link version in iClone is 1.36.

As for the extra assets being generated, it’s because some of your data comes from previous versions, which we cannot identify. Therefore, the necessary files are regenerated. If you run everything from AS2.0 moving forward, this issue will no longer occur.

thanks,

Luke
