AccuRIG crashes at "Rotate Model 65%" every time I use it

I’ve tried a few different models, FBX and OBJ, different scales, polycounts, exporting from different programs, but each time I click “Rig Body” it gets up to 65% and then the program closes. My computer can run Unreal 5.5 and 3D software like 3Ds Max without issue.

Any ideas what I can do to fix this as this tool looks amazing and I would love to utilize it.

Hi…

Sorry to hear you are having problems with AccuRig.

Do you have the latest version installed which is 1.3.6? If so, please try the process with one of the sample characters supplied under the File menu.

If this also causes a crash, then please contact Technical Support who will be able to advise you further.

Hello Pete_RL,

Support helped me. I’m working on my MSI laptop and I have integrated “Iris” GPU and Nvidia A2000 8Gb on aboard. It’s turned out that AccuRig started with “Iris”, so, I changed it to use it with A2000 instead and now it’s working.
You can easily do it by performing next steps:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings (or search for “Graphics settings” in the Windows search bar);
  2. Click “Browse” and locate the executable file of the AccuRig;
  3. Click on the added application, then click on “GPU preference” and choose the desired GPU;
  4. Click “Save” to apply the changes;
  5. PROFIT!!!
