6000.1.10f1 - URP

Bugged material when using Unity Auto Setup with version 6000.1.10f1 + CC Importer 2.0.2. Workaround is to deselect “Is Head” in material option, but I’m unsure of what the consequence of that is.

Most likely cause of that is that you have an incorrect or corrupt Cavity AO Map. It should be almost entirely white with some blue sections at the bottom, if it’s all black then that would cause this to happen. The texture map in question is usually named: Std_Skin_Head_MNAOMask.tga

Try removing the Cavity AO Map texture from the head material.

The next possible cause is a bad Color Blend Map, if the Color Blend Strength is non zero try setting it to 0.

Thanks for replying. If they are incorrect or corrupt, then this may be a compatibility issue, because I’m importing new characters and the issue is present 100% of the time.

I removed the Cavity AO Map, and the color blend strength was already at 0 (though I did move it just to test), but neither had any effect. So far, only unchecking either Is Head or Use Wrinkle displays the material as expected.

This version of Unity did update the URP version and required a re-import of all materials, so I wonder if the Auto Setup needs an update to be compatible?

That said, I imported the characters AFTER the update.
