My name is Oscar Chacon, and I am very happy to participate in this contest. For my entry, I will be creating a wizard character using Character Creator 5, Blender, and Substance Painter; here are some of the references I will be using:
The theme I chose is: The Soul Binder
A mage who does not use a traditional staff, but instead manipulates the power of ancestral totems through threads of light.

The first step: involves using HeadShot 3 with the facial reference images.
Next, I’ll change the skin for the body and face, and apply the body and facial morphs, including the wrinkles.

The Soul Binder is such a creative concept! The idea of using ancestral totems and threads of light instead of a traditional staff gives the character a really distinctive identity. I’m especially curious to see how you bring that connection between the mage and the totems into the final design. The combination of Character Creator 5, Blender, and Substance Painter should make for an impressive result. Looking forward to seeing the finished character!

Almost there; just a few details left before I start making the tikis and the background. The last things I worked on were the pose and the clothing simulation.

First Tiki i need to make 3 more and start to make a material and texture
As I start setting up the scene, I need to create an ancient lost city in the background; the tubes mark where the trees will be positioned. We’re almost done—there are still a few things left to do, but I’ve scheduled the time to finish it before the deadline.
